Sprinkler Repair The external FDC sign is missing. The tech will install the missing sign to identify the location of the connection on the outside of the building. NFPA 25 (13.8.1) Fire department connections shall be inspected to verify the following: (1.) FDC is visible and accessible; (5.) Identification signs are in place The fire sprinkler systems control valve is missing its signage. The tech will install the missing sign providing proper identification of system components. NFPA 25 (13.3.1) Each control valve shall be identified and have a sign indicating the system or portion of the system it controls. The sprinkler heads in the freezer need to have the orange cover removed so they can work.
